I had a whale of a time on Friday 27 August 2010 at the Bow Party. Christiana Collins was our host for the night and Ms. Luba Blay Meizah (Creative Director) gave a presentation on her knitted bows, scarves, mitts, headbands and hats.  I was full of questions and eager to find out what made her decide to set up her own knitwear company. She didn't hold back.

Luba B Meizah has been knitting for years and after much contemplation she decided that the next step for her was to make a living out of it in 2008. She first started to make scarves and mitts but as you and i know scarves are great for the winter/spring season, but after that it gets put on the back shelf. With this in mind she thought of a fashion accessory that she could produce all year round. In 2010 she started producing customized knitted bows.

These bows are great for accessorizing your hats, dresses, tops you name it and on Friday we really worked on our creativity skills.

As you can imagine we got over excited as if we had overdosed on sugar and the night was summed up with a fashion show and a barrel full of laughs.
